Important: The Fueren website and the Fueren iOS app are different products with different privacy behavior.

Website: Collects limited, anonymised usage data (Google Analytics 4) only after consent via Cookiebot.
App: Fueren does not run ads or tracking SDKs. To keep content updated, the app sends limited technical service data: app version/build, locale, and request timestamp.

Fueren respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

This privacy policy explains:

What personal data we collect (if any)

2. Website Privacy (fueren.lu)

2.1 Analytics (GA4) and Consent

The Fueren website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand general usage and improve the website. GA4 is activated only after you provide explicit consent through Cookiebot.

When enabled, the website may process limited, anonymised information such as:

Anonymised IP address
Country and language
Referrer information (where you came from)
General usage statistics (pages viewed, interactions)

We do not use this data to identify you personally. We do not sell website data. Data is shared only with the analytics provider for analytics purposes.

2.2 External Link Redirects

When you click certain outbound links on the website (for example, links to official sources), a redirect endpoint may log limited anonymised technical data for aggregate statistics, such as anonymised IP, country, language, and referrer.

This exists to measure general link usage and to help maintain accurate references. It is not used to track individuals.

3. App Privacy (Fueren iOS App)

3.1 Limited Technical Service Data (No Ads / No Profiling)

To keep app content updated and service reliability, Fueren processes only limited technical service data from app requests:

App version
App build number
Locale (language setting)
Request timestamp

Fueren contains no advertisements, includes no tracking SDKs, and does not use this data for advertising or profiling.

3.2 Apple Diagnostics and Crash Reporting

Apple may process diagnostics and crash reports as part of iOS system services, depending on the user's iOS settings. This is handled by Apple and may be disabled by the user in their device settings.

Fueren does not run its own crash reporting or tracking infrastructure. Any Apple diagnostic processing is governed by Apple's policies.

3.3 iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync/backup, your Fueren data is stored in your own iCloud account. Fueren does not receive this data and does not store it on Fueren servers.

3.4 Offline Usage & On-Device AI

Fueren can be used offline after download for learning and practice. Internet access may be used to check and deliver updated learning content. AI features run on-device using Apple Intelligence where available. Fueren does not transmit prompts or conversations.

4. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have the following rights:

Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data
Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
Right to Erasure: Request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
Right to Restriction: Limit how we process your data
Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
Right to Object: Object to processing
Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with a supervisory authority

For the website: Analytics operate only after consent and are used for aggregate statistics.

For the app: Fueren processes only the limited technical service data listed above (version/build, locale, timestamp). This data is not used to create user profiles.
