Terms of Use

Effective Date: January 12, 2026

Last Updated: February 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Fueren (the "App") and fueren.lu (the "Website"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. What Fueren Is (and Is Not)

Fueren is an independent learning companion designed to complement and extend in-person driving lessons. It is meant for practice, revision, and explanations — not for replacing official teaching or official sources.

  • Fueren is not a driving school.
  • Fueren is not an exam authority.
  • Fueren is not affiliated with SNCA, Luxembourg government institutions, or driving schools.

3. Use of the App

3.1 License

Fueren grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

3.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices

4. Educational Content, Accuracy & Liability

Fueren provides educational material and practice content inspired by Luxembourg driving rules and common driving education topics. However:

  • Fueren is not an official SNCA product and does not provide official exam materials.
  • Some questions in the Category B question bank are based on SNCA official test questions. Some questions may be identical to those found in the official test, while others may convey the same meaning with different wording.
  • Any practice questions or explanations in Fueren are intended for learning support.
  • Rules and procedures can change — always verify critical information with official sources or your instructor.

Fueren does not guarantee exam success. Exam outcomes depend on many factors, including official training, practical skills, and the official evaluation criteria.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fueren and its developer are not liable for:

  • Any failed exam attempts, missed requirements, or misunderstandings
  • Any decisions made based on app content without verification
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages
  • Any loss resulting from reliance on educational material that is not verified against official sources

Nothing in this section limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law (for example, for mandatory consumer rights under EU/Luxembourg law).

5. Payments, Pricing & Monetization

Fueren is a free app available on the Apple App Store at no cost.

  • No advertisements
  • No subscriptions
  • No in-app purchases
  • No sponsored content
  • No affiliate marketing

The app is completely free to download and use, with no hidden costs or monetization schemes.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App and Website are owned by Fueren and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Trademarks, logos, and official content belong to their respective owners. Fueren does not claim ownership over third-party marks. If you believe a specific part of the app or website raises a legitimate rights concern, contact: moien@fueren.lu

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. Fueren does not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of Liability

Fueren shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.

9. Recommended Age

Fueren is designed for people studying for a driving licence. Recommended for 17+. The content contains no explicit or adult material.

10. Changes to Terms

Fueren reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This website and the Fueren app are operated from Luxembourg. This legal page is governed by Luxembourg law and applicable EU law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Luxembourg, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
